Rachael is a James Beard-nominated author and culinary researcher with a mission: to fight food waste and connect global food cultures. Her book, Mastering Stocks and Broths, blends old-world techniques with zero-waste innovation. For over a decade, she's lived in Mexico while learning from food cultures worldwide — fermenting in Morocco, curing in Croatia, and sharing meals from Oaxaca to Osaka. Featured in The New York Times and endorsed by UNESCO, she's presented at top universities and accelerators on sustainable food systems. She is now researching at the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability, merging old world preservation with new world technology to build a better food future.

Education

Rachael has a bachelor's degree from Boston University and is pursuing post-grad research with the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability.
